Nestor Ivanovich
Mahno

ANARCHY (from the Greek: no
rules, or rulers), a socio-political stream of thought which
advocates the immediate abolition of all government (by
spontaneous mass revolt) and the creation of small, autonomous
associations of producers who don't want political oversight.
Anarchy was born between 1840-1870 in Western Europe. The
most famous developers of this ideology were Starner, Prudon,
Bakunin, and Kropotkin.
The ideas of anarchy have found reflection in the theory and practice
of revolutionary activity of various anarchists groups within Revolution 1905-07
and especially legendary N.I.Mahno within Civil war 1918-22.

Roman Ivanovich "Volk" |
The idea for the club originated in the year
2000. Many years of searching passed before this idea was born. In
the past attempts had been made to join the MC club, or just be free
bikers, or simply to know who and what we were. One day 3 smart Belarusian
heads conceived the idea of Rolling Anarchy Motorcycle Clubs Community
(MCC). These three were: Roman Ivanovich (Volk), Andrey Romanovskiy
(Ferre), Vladimir Tsesler.
From the first they understood that the word "Anarchy" must be in the club's name;
the club must unite individuals who carried equal weight and authority, individuals
who didn't want anyone to rule over them. When Andrey ("Ferre") proposed this part
of the name that would explain the concept of the club, its adoption was unanimous.
The word "Rolling", however, was added after hot debates that required more than one
day and more than one shot of tequila. It was finally agreed that the word "Rolling" also
expressed the club's essence: ride always, ride everywhere, and ride no matter what.
The term MCC (motorcycle clubs community) also seemed most suitable to the club's spirit.
So, can you have a motorcycle club without a president, without rules
or without a treasurer? Evidently you can, since many motorcycle clubs
from other countries recognize R.A.MCC as one of their own. On April
1st, 2001, at the opening of biking season in Minsk, Belarus, the
announcement was made of the foundation of R.A.MCC. The word "International"
was added to the club's name when it grew across the borders of Belarus.
The idea for the club's emblem, which really shows the free spirit
of the club, belongs to Vladimir Tsesler, a well-known professional
designer. The club's structure is original even for motorcycle organizations.
The question of structure was first raised at the club meeting on
January 1st, 2002. There was a dialog between Vladimir Tsesler and
Andrey ("Goblin") from Odessa, Ukraine. This dialog best explains
the essence of the club:
-"How about a leader for the meeting?"
-"Fuck the leader!" (Literally: stick the leader in a cunt)
-"How about a president?"
-"Fuck the president!" (as above)
The club remains without a strong centralized structure, no officers
or chain of command, but at the same time it does have a leading ideologist/philosopher
in Roman Ivanovich from Minsk (Belarus). In the club everyone is equal,
no hierarchy, no gradations. From the club's foundation there have
been no major quarrels among members. Although it may seem strange,
even without any central authority one member from a friendly MC testified
the club's treasury is in much better shape than his club's was.
Generally, the club's regulations have only 2 paragraphs:
1. Screw it all (loosely translated from some very bad words, like "FTW")
2. Shut up and drink (also loosely translated)
Of course this is a joke, but it nevertheless shows the club's true spirit.
And many things in the club are based on jokes: humor is a major component of our lives.
The one rule for clothing: a denim vest, in memory of the golden age of biking in the 60s and 70s.
Major but unwritten principles: the combination of individuality, solidarity, mutual assistance,
and brotherhood. To become a member you must be a driver, not a rider. Most of the members
have a long history of biking and who have logged many thousands of kilometers on the roads
of Europe and Asia. Club members are not much interested in driving from bar to bar; the open
road is more important, there to meet old friends. That is why at any event in any city they will meet
people like themselves. R.A.MCC doesn't try to increase membership simply for the sake of numbers.
The most important qualities of a club member is to be recognized, liked, and respected by members
of the biking community.
The club's goal is to create a union of kindred spirits. R.A.MCC is against unnecessary self promotion.
They think you should not speak with your fist or wallet; rather, your vest, soaked with the rain and
dust of many roads, your friends who have shared both good and bad times-these should speak for
you instead. You don't have to be "the best", or unique; it's more important just to be.
Presently, the club has 3 events each year. In May, the bike festival
in Brest (Belarus) "Goblin's show" in Odessa (Ukraine) at the
end of June, and in January a First winter biker fest "SNOW DOGS"
in Samarskaya Luka. R.A.MCC also supports different local and international
events of other friendly clubs, like opening and closing of bike season,
toy rides, rallies, and festivals.
R.A.MCC has many merits, but most important our club unites people without trampling on their
individual freedom, without imposing rules and subordination, because freedom is one of the most
important and precious things in a person's life. The major principle of Anarchy: live as you will,
and harm no one.
Anarchy Forever!
